§07

What this project is for.

D4SC is a public research record of institutional action after the racial-justice mobilizations that followed the murder of George Floyd. It is designed for researchers, organizers, journalists, teachers, and civic institutions that need an auditable record rather than a memory of the news cycle.

Maintainer

Institute for Development Impact

The Institute for Development Impact maintains the archive, dataset structure, and public-facing research interface.

Scope

May 2020 through June 2023

The record tracks institutional responses documented by source links: formal removals, renamings, policy changes, investments, statements, accountability actions, and organizational shifts.

Use

Evidence, not decoration

The map, calendar, charts, and table are all different ways of reading the same underlying records. Each public row is intended to remain traceable to a source.
