Black Lives Matter.

Shortly after the news of George Floyd’s murder became public, people took to the streets to demand justice. Collective action pressured institutions to step up. That pressure lasted through the summer, late into 2020, and continues to reverberate in 2021. Sustained worldwide activism, led by the people, led to an institutional reckoning on systemic racism in American society.

This is not just a moment.
